the permissions feature in pusaka allows you to control access to documents or content based on assigned permission codes only users who possess the specified permissions can view or interact with the associated material overview by adding one or more permission codes (e g , member , public , admin ), you can restrict document access to users who have these permission codes assigned this helps ensure that sensitive or proprietary content remains available only to the intended audience permissions adding or removing permission codes add new permission click add new permission to create a new code type the permission code in the provided text field (e g , premium , internal ) press enter or click away to save the new code entry remove existing permission click the red trash icon next to the code you wish to delete confirm your action (if prompted) the permission will be immediately removed from the list saving changes save after adding or removing codes, click the save button to apply your changes the system updates the contentโs or documentโs permission requirements accordingly best practices use descriptive codes choose permission codes that clearly indicate the role or level of access (e g , member , staff only , public ) combine permissions if needed you can list multiple permission codes on a single item if it should be accessible to multiple groups or roles regularly review access update or remove outdated codes if your user base or organizational structure changes, ensuring your permission logic stays accurate communicate with users make sure users know what each permission code entails and how to obtain or request the right level of access next steps after configuring permission codes assign the required permissions to the appropriate users or groups revisit contents or chunks to verify which items require specific permission codes for access check agent behavior or actions if certain workflows depend on permission restricted data
