setup guide step 1 create a meta business account go to meta business manager https //business facebook com/ and log in click create business account and follow the setup instructions in business settings , go to business info to find your business id step 2 register for whatsapp business api go to meta for developers https //developers facebook com/ and create a developer account navigate to my apps → click create app select business as the app type enter the app name and associate it with your meta business account in the app dashboard , go to whatsapp → getting started click set up and follow the setup guide step 3 create a whatsapp business account (waba) open meta business manager https //business facebook com/ go to business settings → whatsapp accounts click add account → create whatsapp business account (waba) link the whatsapp business account to your meta business account submit business verification if required step 4 register a phone number for whatsapp api in meta business manager → whatsapp accounts , select your waba go to phone numbers → add phone number enter a new phone number (must not be linked to an existing whatsapp account) select a verification method (sms or voice call) enter the otp received on your phone to verify the number generate an api key for authentication step 5 get a permanent access token go to meta business manager https //business facebook com/ in business settings , go to business info and create a system user generate an access token associated with the application, adding the following permissions whatsapp business management whatsapp business messaging save this permanent access token for api authentication step 6 set up webhook to receive messages in meta for developers https //developers facebook com/ , go to app dashboard → whatsapp → configuration click set up webhooks add a webhook url where whatsapp will send message events verify the webhook by providing a verify token (custom string for authentication) step 7 send messages using whatsapp cloud api use whatsapp cloud api to send messages efficiently for more details, visit meta's official documentation https //developers facebook com/docs/whatsapp step 8 configure in pusaka cms click add new channel , then choose whatsapp in product and meta cloud in protocol account code fill in with the phone number that already registered in meta business manager > whatsapp account account id number id from whatsapp business account webhook secret secret that already configured in step 6 above app secret use secret from https //developers facebook com/ , in settings > basic > show app secret access token use access token from step 5 above click save you're good to go! try to send message to the waba number and see if it responds
